In a bid to tackle seasonal outbreaks of Leptospirosis, Typhoid, Dengue, and Diarrhea, the Minister for Health, Dr. Atonio Lalabalavu, has announced plans to establish a dedicated health inspector post in the Bukuya medical area, Ba. Following concerns raised by the community, the Minister conducted a site visit and engaged in a talanoa session with staff to discuss health concerns and potential solutions, aiming to improve public health services and disease prevention measures in the region, including the implementation of effective health inspections and disease control strategies.
