Born on October 25, 1945, Ian leaves behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and unwavering dedication to those he held dear. He was the adored husband of Helen, sharing countless happy years filled with love and companionship. Their bond was a testament to enduring commitment and mutual respect.

Ian was a devoted father to Janelle and the late Tim (d). He embraced his role with pride and tenderness, offering guidance, support, and unwavering love. The memory of Tim will forever be held close, a reminder of the preciousness of life and the importance of family.

As a brother to John and Stell, Ian was a source of strength and camaraderie. Their shared history and enduring connection provided comfort and joy throughout his life. Family gatherings were filled with laughter and shared memories, creating a tapestry of love that will be treasured for generations to come.

Ian’s heart overflowed with love for his grandchildren, Aimee and Megan. He delighted in their presence, showering them with affection and creating lasting memories. Being a “Poppy” brought him immense joy, and he embraced the role with enthusiasm and pride. He was a constant source of encouragement and support, inspiring them to pursue their dreams and reach their full potential.

Beyond his immediate family, Ian was a “great mate” to many. He possessed a genuine warmth and easygoing nature that drew people to him.
