The community is mourning the loss of Cedric John Crooks, a long-time resident of Manzies Road, Mt Bartle Frere, who passed away peacefully at the Babinda Hospital on Monday, 28th April 2025, at the age of 76. In accordance with Cedric's wishes, a private cremation was held, allowing his loved ones to say goodbye in an intimate setting.
